Leather Lotion is a top shelf conditioner bred from need by trial and error. As a leather craftsman for many years, I was unable to find a product that suited my needs as a Tack and Saddle Maker. While there are several longstanding reputable brands I used for years, I always wanted something with just the right:

In addition large scale leather shops and discerning craftsmen often choose to keep the lotion in a crockpot on warm. Hot Liquid application greatly increases lotion absorption into leather by 2-3x. This is true for other oils and water as well. Use as much or as little as your leather needs, including multiple applications each followed by a pass of the hair dryer, or elbow grease to incorporate. Unique to this product, there is little worry about lotion getting in the stitch grooves or threads. Fully melting, you can heat melt the excess down into the stitch groove usually disappearing completely.
